VAT Services on Amazon ended October 31st!
If you are currently selling on Amazon and haven’t already, you need to make a plan for your VAT.
What’s happening?
VAT Services on Amazon, which has acted as a middleman between sellers and VAT service providers, closed on October 31st. The September’s return is the last VAT return your provider will file for you under the current arrangement.
What you need to do?
You have three options:
- Talk to your service provider like SimplyVAT and sign a contract to be their client directly
- Find a new provider like SimplyVAT to help you with your VAT obligations
- Handle your VAT on your own
If you don’t want to work with your current provider anymore, click the link in your Seller Central case log to opt-out.
Need some advice?
Dealing with Amazon and taxes can be very robotic, but you can talk to a person about your situation when you get in touch with SimplyVAT.
